Staff Training

Training can be provided to staff members using tools that cater for all learning styles.

Training will be personalised to each clients needs, but can include the following:

  • How to use the menu and its useful tools
  • Essential kitchen skills
  • Food presentation
  • Cooking at altitude
  • Menu cooking, support and feedback
  • Dealing with dietary requirements
  • Budgeting & waste control
  • Shopping & food ordering
  • Time management
  • Understanding food hygiene
  • Food hygiene training and certification (not currently available, watch this space)
  • Chalet presentation, table arrangement & setting an atmosphere
  • Wine pairing (in association with Le Verre Gourmand)
  • Local cheese knowledge
  • Afternoon teas
  • High teas & children in the chalet
  • Team work & working together – Open Communication to other chalets
  • Hosting and management of guests
  • Welcome speech
  • Cleaning
  • Laying the fire
  • Paperwork
  • Effective chalet management
  • Hot tub management (in association with Mont Blanc Spa)

All training will be presented in a way that caters for all learning styles including visual, audio and kinaesthetic.
